Aguila Construction, L.P. was formed in 1997. The original principles were Clayton Brown, Jr. and Richard N. Lane. Aguila Construction, L.P. is a General Contractor that does commercial construction in our hometown of Eagle Pass, as well as surrounding communities. We focus primarily on public funded projects, but do some private work locally. We are bondable to sixteen million dollars and carry full insurance coverage.

Clayton Brown, Jr. has been involved in real estate development and construction since the mid-seventies in Eagle Pass. He was born and raised in Eagle Pass with family here from the early 1900’s. His earlier experience was primarily in residential and mixed use subdivision and residential construction. Since 1997, he has worked exclusively in commercial construction with Richard Lane, a licensed professional engineer with many years experience in commercial construction of all kinds. Lane is still associated with Aguila Construction, L.P. as a consultant, advisor, and friend. 

Clayton Brown III began his construction career in 1996 with Brown Construction, doing residential building in Eagle Pass. In 1999, he moved to Austin, Texas and worked with Milburn Homes as a Supervisor of more than 200 homes. In 2001, he returned to Eagle Pass to work with Aguila Construction, L.P. in the commercial field. He is President of the company and is responsible for estimating, project development and overseeing all company responsibilities regarding Aguila Construction, L.P.

Aguila Construction’s philosophy is to bring together the many trades necessary to complete the project in an efficient and professional manner. We pride ourselves in keeping an open line of communication between all parties until we successfully complete any and all projects.
